Generic Bluetooth HID Gamepad
JoypadOS supports generic Bluetooth HID gamepads via a BT dongle or built-in radio (Pico W, ESP32-S3, nRF52840). The generic BT HID driver parses standard gamepad reports for broad compatibility.
USB Keyboard
Any standard USB HID keyboard can be used as a controller with Joypad adapters. Arrow keys map to the D-pad, WASD maps to the left stick, and other keys map to controller buttons. A dedicated GameCube keyboard mode (via Scroll Lock/F14) is available for full keyboard passthrough.
USB Mouse
USB mice are supported by JoypadOS for specific console applications. On PC Engine, the mouse provides native mouse emulation for compatible games. On 3DO, it emulates the 3DO mouse. On GameCube and Nuon, mouse movement maps to stick input for games like Tempest 3000.
